Monday, April 11, 2011 Strike one!  (Yeah, it’s baseball season…) So I didn’t post for more than a week, breaking a promise to myself.  Well, at least I know that I did take some photos that haven’t made it here yet, but until I can get those sorted, here’s a photo from today. This 75-degree weather is really awesome.  After grilling some hamburgers for dinner, I was sitting outside on our deck enjoying some fresh, warm air, pregnant with the scent of rain about to fall.  My eye drifted to our cherry tree, with its new buds springing forth with the new season.  I was intrigued by the way the floodlights offset the branches of the tree, yet the darkness of the night still encroached into my frame.
